Tom Gambuzza has spent over 15 years in the entertainment industry as a performer, speaker, and business owner.

In 2019, he and his partners acquired an entertainment company doing 350 events a year, and under $1M in revenue at the time. Today, as a Managing Partner of Elegant Music Group, that same company now produces over 1,500 events annually and is a multi-million dollar organization.

In 2024, Elegant Music Group landed on the Inc 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in America. It was the only events company on the list that year.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

I launched The Wealthy DJ because I lived the exact problem you're probably living right now.

Nothing in this industry ever taught me how to run the business side of what we built at EMG. Nobody handed me a playbook for pricing, for staffing, for surviving the gap between a busy wedding season and a dead winter. I learned it the hard way, through years of trial and error as the business was growing, and building systems out of pure necessity because the alternative wasn’t something I was willing to accept.

Here's what I know to be true: most DJ company owners are exceptional behind the booth. You can read a room, you can move a crowd, you can make any event feel like magic. But being great at the craft and being great at running the business are two completely different skill sets, and almost nobody teaches the second one. That gap is exactly what's keeping talented owners overworked, underpaid, and stuck doing everything themselves.

The Wealthy DJ exists to close that gap. Not with theory, with the actual systems I use to run a real, multi-million dollar entertainment business, handed to you so you don't have to learn them the hard way like I did.

Today, I lead the Finance and Client Experience teams at Elegant Music Group. I'm also married to my amazing wife, Samantha, and a father of two to Tommy & Siena. That's exactly why building real structure and freedom into this business isn't a talking point for me. I live it, and I want the same for you.
